About this policy

Prime Rides Bonaire is the ride booking and transport platform of Prime Rentals Bonaire. PrimeRidesBonaire is the name used for our Google sign-in connection. This policy describes how we handle personal data in our apps and website. Contact us at info@primerentalsbonaire.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect and why

We process account and contact details, booking and ride details, pickup and destination locations, relevant device location, payment references, and device and service usage information. We use these data to create and maintain accounts, arrange and dispatch rides, calculate fares, provide ride tracking and service communications, support safety, investigate disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.

Location features use device permission where required. We use precise location only when relevant to the service you enable, such as selecting a pickup point, dispatch or tracking a ride. Your device settings let you manage location permission. Booking locations that you enter can still be needed to provide the requested ride.

Signing in with Google or Apple

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, confirmation of the email address and basic profile information that Google provides, which can include your name and profile picture. We request only the openid, email and profile permissions. This connection does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar, Google Drive files or Google location history.

If you choose Apple sign-in, we receive your Apple account identifier and the email address and name that Apple makes available. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple provides a relay email address instead of your personal email address.

We use these provider details to identify you, create or maintain your Prime Rides account, sign you in and support your use of the service. Supabase processes the sign-in and stores the authentication account, provider identity and supplied profile metadata for us. The app stores the session information needed to keep you signed in on your device. Choosing Google or Apple is optional; the available email sign-in method remains an alternative.

Sharing and service providers

We share information needed to provide a ride with the assigned driver and authorized staff who operate or support the service. Our technical providers process information needed for their services, including Supabase for authentication and backend services, Netlify for website hosting, Resend for email delivery, Mapbox for maps and Stripe for payment processing. Full card details are handled by the payment processor; Prime Rides stores payment references rather than full card details. We may disclose information when legally required.

We do not sell personal data. Google sign-in data are used only to provide or improve the user-facing Prime Rides service and are not used for targeted advertising, data brokerage or training general-purpose AI models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and protection

We use access controls, restricted staff permissions and encrypted network connections to protect personal information. Technical providers may process information in locations outside Bonaire. No information system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the service and the purposes described above, or as required by applicable law. Closing an account does not necessarily remove records that must be retained for payments, legal obligations or unresolved disputes. We do not set a single retention period for every type of record.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or raise an objection or portability request, subject to applicable law. Send the request to info@primerentalsbonaire.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. Do not send your password or sign-in codes.

You can also remove Prime Rides access in your Google or Apple account settings. Removing that connection prevents future use of that connection but does not itself delete records already held by Prime Rides. Contact us if you also want to request account or data deletion.

Changes and contact
